AGPIA : The Prayer of The Twelfth Hour (Compline) (Prayer Before Sleeping) Instituted to commemorate the laying down of the body of our Lord Jesus Christ in the tomb, also because it is the last hour of man’s life in his day, since sleep is consid- ered as a little death.
