AGPIA : Foreword Foreword The word Agpia pronounced (Agp-eya) is de- rived  from  the  Coptic  word  “Agp”   which  means hour. Hence the title “Agp-eya” denotes the Prayer of the Hours. This edition of the Agpia  has been revised in the following areas :- All  scripture  references  are  from  the  Holy Bible (New King James Version) The Prayer of the Veil and the Priests’ Abso- lution have been added. Numbers  in  brackets  refer  to  psalms  in  the Coptic Agpia. Eg:- PSALM 23 (22) (The LORD is my shepherd ...) Is Ps 23 in the NKJV  &  is Ps 22 in the Coptic translation. Psalms Index added.
